Frittata OmeletteBest Breakfast Frittata Omelette Recipe :-

Breakfast has always been the most sumptuous meal for me. Wondering whether to have French Omelette made or Spanish Omelette is a difficult choice after eating the regular Masala Omelette and Spinach & Mushroom Omelette, however, you are spoilt for choices.

So it is Frittata today!

Frittata is a versatile dish and there is no limit to what you can add to it. Couple it with blueberry cinnamon knots for a delightful meal.

Ingredients :-
  • 8 large eggs
  • 1/3 cup heavy cream
  • 3/4 cup shredded mozzarella
  • salt
  • freshly ground black pepper
  • pinch of red pepper flakes
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 minced shallot
  • 3 minced cloves garlic
  • 200 gm sliced mushrooms
  • 1/2 cup ricotta
  • 3 cups baby spinach

 

Method :-
  • Preheat oven to 375°F.  Whisk eggs, heavy cream, and mozzarella in a bowl and season with salt, pepper and a pinch of red pepper flakes.
  • Heat oil in a frying pan over medium flame and add shallot and garlic and cook until tender. Add mushrooms and cook for a few minutes. Then add spinach and cook. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Pour the egg mixture into the pan and dollop with ricotta before transferring the pan to oven.
  • Bake for 10 – 15 minutes until eggs are ready. The best breakfast Frittata is ready to be served.
